How would you like to go to an event where the speakers or trainers were from the region? Where they 'get' the culture and the conversations. They aren't from across the globe but locally grown, influenced and driven by the issues and drives we have here.  Well this is where my next guest, Saana is putting a marker.  She is the founder of MENA Speakers, a boutique speakers bureau providing the market with moderators, key note speakers, individual trainers and corporate trainers to the business landscape.  Her focus on the arab voices and talent from this region and her vision is to become the biggest exporter of Middle East Voices to the world.

Her learning curve journey doesn't start there because by profession Saana is a Economist and she has received several awards and allocades for her efforts.

Hear her story from Economist career girl to Speaker entrepreneur and her philosophies of running her own business in this fun and inspiration conversation a with motivated lady making waves and helping you access some of the amazing speaking talent from this region.

This is her entrepreneurial journey and her learning curve journey.

The Learning Curve Podcast - THE Podcast for Women Entrepreneurs in the Middle East.

The Middle East also has a weight and obesity crisis. Yes its not just the western world which scores high in the obesity crisis.  Over the last two decades there is increased consumption of fast foods and sugar-dense beverages (e.g., sodas). Simultaneously, technological advances and a more sedentary lifestyle have lead to a decrease in level of activity  This is where my next guest Ola is deeply involved in.  She the Founder of Quality of Life Nutrition and Eating disorder centre and the founder and owner of Primrose Health Shop.

‚ÄčShe is a Master Practitioner in eating disorders and obesity and understand the importance of combining nutrition and physical needs.  Her Passion is to start a nutrition academy and create a space for more practitioners like her to learn, understand and build their expertise so together they can tackle the obesity crises in Jordan as well as across the region.

This is her entrepreneurial journey and her learning curve journey.

The Learning Curve Podcast - THE Podcast for Women Entrepreneurs in the Middle East.

Happiness!  Its an interesting word and a word that weirdly enough can cause a lot of stress too.  How many of you say this...' Ill be happy when...' or 'When I get passed this moment I'l have time to be happy'.... weirdly enough most of us put happiness on the back burner and only create happiness when we've achieved certain things.  And then when we do achieve our goal we could land up feeling bitterly disappointed because how you feel and the outcome are dissimilar. Happiness can seem like a battle of wills BUT... it doesn't have to be that way.  My guest Jo Dee Walmsley is  a professional motivational speaker and facilitator of Laughter Wellness.  Jo-Dee is helping people in business that face stress and other work-related illnesses, to find better ways to live more productive and healthier lives.

We had a great chat about happiness, stress, cortisol, how to be happy and how techniques like Laughter Yoga can really help you build your own self awareness about how you react in situations and how to achieve better outcomes. Her website is www.simplylaughter.com

We did have a few giggles along the way and she even helped me start to get me into fake laughing which eventually followed into real laughing!!

This is her entrepreneurial journey and her learning curve journey.
